Yemen – December 2008
A Somali refugee dries her clothing and awaits relief assistance provided by MSF after arriving in southern Yemen on a smugglers boat from Somalia. Refugees migrating from Somalia and Ethiopia arrive regularly in southern Yemen on smugglers’ boats from northern Somalia. Most are fleeing war, disease, and poverty at home.
