Nyamata, Rwanda – May 1994
During the genocide in Rwanda, one massacre was at Nyamata, 15 years ago, this month. Few people were able to escape. This girl was able to survive by not moving or speaking during the killings. She is the only survivor and a single witness of unspeakable terror.

Au cours du génocide rwandais, l’un des massacres s’est déroulé à Nyamata, il y a 15 ans. Peu de gens ont réussi à s’échapper. Cette petite fille a survécu en ne bougeant pas et en restant muette lors des massacres. Elle est la seule survivante et témoin d’une terreur indescriptible.
