In Bihar, MSF opened a project at Hajipur hospital to deal with the growing number of visceral Leishmaniasis or kala azar cases. India accounts for 80 per cent of the number of cases worldwide, 90 per cent of which found in Bihar.

MSF a ouvert un projet à l’hôpital de Hajipur, au Bihar, pour s’occuper des cas de leishmaniase viscérale ou kala-azar à la hausse. Quatre-vingts pour cent des cas mondiaux se retrouvent en Inde dont 90 pour cent à Bihar.
