Nasir, Upper Nile State, South Sudan – December 2007
No weapons. A signboard in the MSF staff house advises that it is forbidden to carry guns, arms, and weapons. The MSF team runs a hospital in Nasir town, providing medical services in Southern Sudan. More than three years after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in January 2005, medical needs remain critical and simmering tensions create a precarious security situation.
