Steven Cohen is a psychiatrist who has been working in the Canadian north since graduating from McGill in mid-2007. Prior to medical school, he completed a Master’s degree in medical anthropology, with a focus on psychological trauma. This is his first mission with MSF, and he will be the Mental Health Officer for the Farchana Project, providing services on the eastern border of Chad, to Sudanese refugees from Darfur, and to Chadian internally displaced persons.
