Dear Dr. James Maskalyk,
Your blog on Sudan’s Abyei situation truly makes an awareness through out the media. I can not tell you how proud I am about your blog and that you have devoted your time to help in the areas that have neither trace of eyewitness nor CNN/BBC employees.
Yes, Abyei is the heart of the Sudan, the border between north and south, and
one of the disputed areas shared by both Dinka and Masserria. In 2007, right after the CPA was signed, one of the worst war broke out between the Government of the National Unity and Sudan People’s Liberation Army and its result was that many civilians were killed and the entire town was burned down. Many people including the world community feared that another was started
When I read your Six months blog, I felt that, and for the first time, the truth
are been told and that the world community will understand the hidden facts not only about Abyei but also people who live in such, African remote areas that has 100% insecurity.
Thank you very much and keep up doing a good job.
Yours always,
Malong R. Malual
